If media reports are to be believed then director Anurag Basu’s soon to be released film ‘Barfi!’ has landed in a legal trouble. It seems that the film is going to face a legal battle against the Mumbai based company, Murphy Enterprises.

 Apparently, Murphy Enterprises has sent a notice to the makers of ‘Barfi!’ about the use of the word Murphy in the trailers and songs.

 The film’s story is based in Darjeeling and Kolkata, and is centred on a boy called Barfi. As per the information gathered from the interviews of the cast and crew members of the film, the protagonist of the film was originally called Murphy.
