0 I don't choose my roles based on my look: Sonakshi

Many feel that Sonakshi Sinha choose her roles on the basis of her look in the film, but the actress denies it saying she gives importance to "character".

"I don't choose my roles based on what my character will wear. The roles that I have chosen till date, I have liked the characters and situations of the film. If I get to play a character who will wear western clothes and if I am comfortable, I will do it," Sonakshi told us in a group interview.
Seen as a village belle in her first film "Dabangg", she played a 'desi' girl in "Rowdy Rathore" too. In her next release, "Son of Sardaar", she will be seen a typical Punjabi girl.

But she is open to different roles and said: "So far people have appreciated me like this (desi avatar)... I am doing a lot of similar roles after this as well. But, of course, if I get the chance, I would want to play different roles as well."

The place where we were shooting in Patiala was very beautiful. Whenever she was not shooting, she would take her camera and go all over to click," quipped a source close to her. With having the credit of being a fashion designer, an accomplished actor and now a photographer, Sonakshi definitely is one multi-talented actress!!!!

As we all know how Ajay Devgan loves playing pranks on his sets, this time Sonakshi Sinha was the victim of his prank. Reportedly, Ajay teamed up with Sanju and challenged Sonakshi to eat a few chillies on the sets of “Son Of Sardar”. Sonakshi being a dare devil accepted the challenge.

 Sonakshi is known to have a sweet tooth, but to everyone’s surprise, she ate 10 red chillies in one go.
 A source said: “Sonakshi had just started shooting in Patiala with the rest of the crew and Ajay decided to play a prank on her. So Sanju baba and Ajay went to Sonakshi and challenged her to eat few chillies at once. Sonakshi started laughing and accepted the task.”

 Now, Sonakshi definitely knows how to be a sport and have some fun.

0 Sonakshi to do item number in Bullet Raja

Last week we reported that Sonakshi Sinha was roped in to play the lead opposite Saif in the film Bullet Raja. Now we have confirmed news that Sonakshi who is playing a modern, educated and independent Bengali girl in this film, will also be doing an item number in the film.

 In fact the film will feature two item numbers of which Sonakshi and Saif will be part of one, while the details of the other are yet to be revealed. Bullet Raja which is being directed by much acclaimed director Tigmanshu Dhulia is scheduled to go on floors in November this year.

 "I want to be a simple bride when I get married. I want a beach wedding where I am running around on the sand in a white dress," she said after the show.

 The collection was called 'Mystical Romance'. It showcased a variety of bridal pre- draped saris, sari gowns, anarkalis and lehengas in colours like black, gold, amber, coral, blue and red.

Actress Sonakshi Sinha is hoping that "Joker", her second film with Akshay Kumar, replicates the success of their first movie "Rowdy Rathore".
 "If this film gets a push because of our previous film ('Rowdy Rathore'), then it would be a good thing for us and our producers, who are the same, UTV. If a pair has worked then it will definitely benefit in future as well," two-film-old Sonakshi said here in an interview.
 So far she has had two releases - "Dabangg" and "Rowdy Rathore" - and both have entered the Rs.100 crore club.
 When asked if she considers himself a lucky charm, the 25-year-old said: "As far as the lucky charm tag is concerned, you have given me that tag and tomorrow it will be someone else."
 Her "Rowdy Rathore" and "Joker" co-star Akshay says there is no such thing as lucky or unlucky.
 "When films work, then everyone becomes a lucky charm. If you (the reporter) also do a character role in our film and it works, then you will also become a lucky charm. Everyone is a lucky charm," the 44-year-old said.
 "It is an artificial thing, lucky or unlucky. Be it a boy or a girl, he is lucky. It's just in your mind," he added.
 Sonakshi is currently shooting for "Dabangg 2", "Lootere" and "Son of Sardar".
