After much gossips and
speculations, the hot, talent house Kareena Kapoor has been finalised as
the item gal for Salman Khan's much talked, power-packed entertainer
'Dabangg 2'.
Earlier, there were just breezy talks about the makers of the 'Dabangg' sequel approaching Bebo for doing the special number in the film. But of late it is heard that Salman himself requested the sizzling actress to be a part of the project.
And being close to superstar, Kareena couldn't refuse the offer and gave immediate nod for doing the item song.
While many of the A-list actresses in B-town have featured in item number, this will be the first time where Kareena will be donning the special tag.
Sources shared that Salman and the makers of 'Dabangg 2' are keen to make the song much bigger and entertaining than "Munni Badnam Hui" which featured Malaika Arora Khan.
While Farah Khan will take the reins of choreographing the song, Salman is said to be sharing the dancing floor more than what he did in "Munni".
Apparently, the item song was initially planned to have a Marathi Lavani style but now it has been changed to have a twist of North Indian folk and western dance.
