Sushma Reddy hails from a south Indian family. She is the eldest of the three sisters, two other sisters being Meghana who is a model-cum-veejay and the youngest sister Sameera who is working as a spokesperson for Omega.
Sushma did her graduation in Economics from Mumbai's Mithibai College.
She also learnt Japanese for two-and-a-half years after which she floated a company to develop and export herbal products for skin and hair care.
In the meantime, she also tried her hand at jewelry designing.
Her showbiz career began with a small and forgettable stint with Channel V.
